Roxas City - A Consensus Building Workshop on Localizing Counter Corruption Project was held last February 11-12, 2008 at the Gerry Roxas Foundation Convention Center. This was participated by the local officials headed by City Mayor Vicente B. Bermejo, Department Heads of the Roxas City Government, NGO's, PO's, Local media and National Agencies such as the Philippine National Police, DILG and the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Sponsoring the said two day seminar are The Asia Foundation, British Embassy and the League of Cities of the Philippines. A representative from the Social Weather Station (SWS) presented to the group the latest survey on local corruption level of the city government.
