ayor Vic Bermejo is the elected mayor of Roxas City in the May 2007 elections. Before this new post, he was the dynamic governor of Capiz and brought a lot of visible improvements in the province.

He also rendered years of service as a municipal government official before his rise to the highest position at the Capiz Provincial Capitol in May 1998. He was the OIC Mayor of Panay town in Capiz, before having been elected Municipal Mayor until 1998.

Then Governor Bermejo became active in the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) where he assumed posts in the national directorate in various capacities as Executive Vice President and Secretary General. Desirous of installing a benign investment climate in the region, he figures prominently as Chairperson of the Regional Peace and Order Council. He intensified socio-economic development thrusts by bonding more closely the neighboring provinces into a Panay alliance for the pursuit of common goals and programs.

Now, as a Mayor of the City of Roxas, he continues his legacy of providing good governance for the city and its residents.
